For those who missed the theatrical release or prefer to watch from home, there’s good news. As confirmed in the film's end credits, Netflix has secured the digital streaming rights. While an official OTT release date has not been officially announced. As per GQ India report, the industry trends suggest that Son of Sardaar 2 could start streaming between September 12 and 26, 2025, based on the standard six-to-eight-week window post theatrical release.

Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, Son of Sardaar 2 is struggling to hit Rs 50 crore mark within its first six days of release. Despite Ajay Devgn's star power and a loyal fan base for the original, the sequel struggled to attract large crowds, facing stiff competition from multiple releases that premiered the same day.

In addition to this, the movie also contended with the ongoing success of Saiyaara, a global box office juggernaut that has crossed the Rs 500 crore mark.
