Drinking warm water after waking up in the morning is considered a healthy habit, which helps detoxify the body and improve digestion. But sometimes it happens that despite drinking warm water, the stomach is not cleaned properly. Problems like constipation, bloating, or heaviness persist. In such a situation, just drinking warm water is not enough, but some more habits have to be added which activate the digestive system and clean the stomach completely. Let's know such effective tips, by following which you can get relief from stomach-related problems.

If your stomach is not cleaned properly in the morning, then first of all change your diet. Include fiber-rich things like oats, chia seeds, fruits apples, papaya, guava, green vegetables, and whole grains daily. Fiber helps in cleaning the intestines and makes bowel movement easier. 10 to 15 minutes of exercise in the morning or some simple yogasanas like Pawanmuktasana, Trikonasana, and Bhujangasana improve digestion. These help in naturally clearing the stomach by bringing movement to the intestines. Make it a habit to go to the toilet at the same time every day. Even though there may be no pressure in the beginning, but by getting the body used to a certain routine, improvements start showing in a few days.
Drinking warm water only in the morning is not enough. Drink at least 8–10 glasses of water throughout the day. You can also consume lemonade or jeera water which speeds up digestion. Yogurt, buttermilk, or probiotic supplements increase the good bacteria in the stomach, which strengthens digestion and reduces the problem of constipation.
