Akshaya Tritiya 2025 Rituals and Significance
On Akshay Tritiya, which is regarded as one of the most auspicious days in the Hindu calendar, new ventures can be launched without the necessity for a "muhurta" (particular time). According to tradition, endeavours and financial commitments made on this day will grow and result in prosperity.
In particular, Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi get special prayers, many devotees attend temples, and many fast on this day. Rice coated with turmeric is known as "Akshate" and is served as an auspicious offering.
