China-India Missile: The Dongfeng-5C (DF-5C) missile shown in China's Victory Day parade is said to be the world's most dangerous ICBM. Know how it compares to India's Agni 5?

Who is ahead in missile power, India or China?
China has been demonstrating its military power for a long time. The Victory Day parade is the biggest example of this, in which the People's Liberation Army (PLA) displayed high-tech weapons. The biggest attraction of this parade was the Dongfeng-5C (DF-5C) missile, which was called the 'show stopper'.
Not only DF-5C but weapons like hypersonic glide vehicles, robotic dog drones, anti-ship cruise missiles and unmanned underwater vehicles were also showcased in Victory Day. This is a clear indication that China wants to make its technological edge not only on land but also in cyber, sea and air warfare. This power of PLA under the leadership of President Xi Jinping strengthens China's position not only in Asia but also on the global stage. However, if we compare the missiles of India and China, then we will see the difference between the two.
Technical capability of DF-5C missile
Dongfeng-5C (DF-5C) is China's most advanced intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). Some of its major technical features are: Its range is 13,000–16,000 km. It is a liquid-fuel based missile. Its payload capacity is 3,900 kg (1–3 megaton nuclear warhead). It can attack by locking the target from a distance of 800 meters. Its length is 32.6 meters and weight is 183,000 kg. The biggest strength of DF-5C is its MIRV capability. That is, it can target multiple targets in a single launch. It has the range to America and Europe and is definitely a threat to India as well.
India's most modern ICBM
India's most modern missile system ICBM is Agni-V. It also has its own special feature, which brings it in the category of dangerous missile. Its range is 5,000–8,000 km. It is based on solid-fuel. Its payload capacity is 1,000–1,500 kg. It can lock and attack the target from a distance of 10-100 meters. Its length is 17 meters and weight is 50,000 kg. Agni-V is road-mobile and canister-launched, which means it can be deployed anywhere and the enemy cannot detect it. Apart from this, India has ballistic missile defense (BMD) systems—like Prithvi Air Defense (PAD) and Advanced Air Defense (AAD). These systems can intercept incoming missiles.
India's maritime capability
India's maritime capability is also getting stronger. The K-4 SLBM (3,500 km range) has been successfully tested from INS Arighat, which ensures India's second-strike capability. That is, even if India is attacked first, it is still capable of responding.
Is DF-5C a threat to India?
Technically, DF-5C can target any part of India. Its range and payload make it a nuclear Armageddon missile, but the power of the missile alone does not decide the war. India has continuously strengthened its defense system and missile technology over the last two decades. India's nuclear triad (the ability to launch nuclear attacks from land, air and sea) makes it capable of countering threats like DF-5C.
