Yet, it’s been far from a breeze; the family hit a significant snag while striving to restore the property's roof.
Clive said: "There are some big heavy slates going on and so we are just helping him where we can. It's quite hard to put slates on it, it really is because there are a lot of things going on", reports .
He elaborated, explaining the difference between replacing existing slates and starting from scratch: "If you're working on a roof where the slates are already there, it's a matter of taking them off and pushing them straight back on again but in this case there was nothing on it, they're all new slates but it does look lovely when it is done."
When consulting Amanda, he posed the question: "15 or 16 inch wide?" He gestured towards one of the slates, seeking her opinion: "What we are thinking is this, but we need a decision."
Amanda was visibly anxious about the significant choices ahead, as she confessed: "Oh no. Is it up to me?" She seized the moment on to share her insights: "Trying to get everything all joined up is so difficult. I never realised there was so much planning going into this."
She went on to say: "Richard is brilliant but Richard still has questions that need answering and it's trying to keep everyone happy. It's still quite daunting and it still gives me quite a few sleepless nights."

On another note, during the programme, Clive underwent his second hip replacement surgery. Amanda shared concern over how he had been having trouble mounting their quad bike to navigate their sprawling 2000 acre farm.
Clive opened up: "Tomorrow I've got to be in the hospital at 7:30 in the morning, got a new hip. So yeah, I wouldn't say I'm really looking forward to it, but that's what's gonna happen and so this is my last day for a little while. And then. I'll be back and I'll just have to tell them what to do and drive them all mad."
He added with a hint of courage: "Yeah, I mean, you're bound to be nervous, but no, no, I'm alright with it. 'll do exactly what they tell me and, next thing you know you wake up and it's doing. I've had one, you see, so I know the procedure, but no, like it or not, that's what's happening tomorrow."
Post-surgery, Amanda half-joked that Clive was a "terrible patient" especially when he couldn't resist limping outside on crutches to check on the children's sheep-rearing efforts in his absence.
