Blackburn Rovers' game against Ipswich Town was delayed due heavy rainfall in the 80th minute on Saturday. The hosts were leading 1-0 at the time when the players were taken off the pitch by the referee.
Rovers' official X account posted: "The ref has called the game to a stop and brought all the players off the pitch due to the wet pitch."
Ipswich Town's account added: "Still chucking it down and the players are still inside. Understandably, a lot of home fans have made the decision to leave. No word yet."
