A bargain hunter who discovered a dress priced at £7 has been stunned by the garment's actual worth. The "perfect condition" dress from the local thrift store has left social media users amazed after the purchaser revealed her incredible find on TikTok. Vanessa Nagel managed to uncover the dress in a neighbourhood second-hand store.
After posting about the dress to her online followers, she has been astounded by the item's true value. She has since revealed the purchase and discovery of the genuine price has left her "freaking out", particularly as the dress remains in pristine condition. In a viral TikTok clip, Vanessa displayed the dress and explained she'd been perusing the discount rail in the charity shop before wandering to another section of the store.
Her choice to explore further secured her a frock valued in the thousands.

She said: "I'm freaking out. I've been thrifting by myself - it's half off day - but this isn't half off... I think I just found Miu Miu. [It's a] perfect condition dress. I'm not sure, I'm freaking out."
Vanessa proceeded to examine the dress's label and verified it was indeed the luxury brand, which sells frocks retailing for thousands of pounds.
Boasting a pinafore silhouette with pink and white houndstooth design, and gems adorning the straps and bodice, the dress bears a label featuring the brand's name and 'Made in Italy' inscription.
Vanessa, a stylist in her 30s, managed to secure a bargain at the shop, snapping up the frock for just $9 [£6.70]. Members of the public were jealous of the dress discovery, with many applauding Vanessa's fortune.
Vanessa appears visibly stunned, before grabbing it and trying it on – with the dress fitting perfectly.

The TikTok received 15,000 likes and hundreds of comments. One person wrote: "I literally need this. "One of those 'put it in the cart" moments,' another user agreed.
Someone else commented: "That is insane. "It screams Barbie," another wrote.
One user added: "Omg I'm screaming for you and it fits! Gorg." [sic] Vanessa is no stranger to bargains either, having previously grabbed a Gucci dress for just $29 [£21.50].
The dress wasn't just a Gucci piece of clothing, but a Gucci Tom Ford dress from 1998.
The Los Angeles-based bargain hunter said: "Honestly, I was like 'This probably isn't real'. But I threw it in my cart anyway to investigate. I could not believe it was a Gucci Tom Ford 1998 dress."
