People have been warned not to position a certain piece of bedroom furniture facing their bed. The caution comes from a woman who identifies as a psychic medium and demonologist, claiming that ignoring her advice could invite an 'unwanted presence' into your home.
Psychic mediumsare thought to communicate with the spirits of the deceased, acting as go-betweens for the dead and their living relatives. One such medium, Leah (@psychicleah), voiced her concerns on TikTok about the potential dangers of placing a mirror so that it faces the bed in a bedroom.
Her warning applies to all types of mirrors, whether they're wall-mounted, freestanding in a corner, or built into wardrobe doors. She stated: "I don't think I can actually stress this enough to people. Do not have a mirror facing your bed."

Leah suggested that mirrors are "the main reasons" for the creation of 'portals' between our world and the spirit realm. She warned: "You will have unwanted spirits. You will have all types of spirits in your home and you don't wanna be the one that I have to come out to [so I can] clear something low vibrational - typically an entity that isn't particularly nice."
Leah has suggested that if you've recently purchased a new bedroom mirror and are suddenly experiencing "restless sleep" or insomnia, it could be due to energy from 'the other side'. She also mentioned that simply changing the angle of a mirror might not rectify the problem.
She believes mirrors can "invite unwanted spirits" when they face a window. Despite their allure as bargains, Leah also cautioned against buying second-hand mirrors due to potential "withheld energy."
She said: "Whatever happened within that person's home, we don't know if it's negative, is coming into your home." Leah added that she frequently receives calls about "unwanted spirits" in homes and can instantly pinpoint the problem when she sees a mirror.
Leah advised: "[What] I suggest you do is you cover the mirror. You can keep it there, [but] cover the mirror with a cloth, blanket, whatever you want. Make sure you're doing protection prayers over that mirror, setting boundaries and you are also saging it. Please, I beg you, sage it."

The psychic medium continued to inform viewers: "I'm doing this to protect you." While there is no scientific proof for the existence of ghosts in mirrors, the link between mirrors and the supernatural has deep roots in folklore, psychology, and popular culture.
For those with a belief in the supernatural, it's often suggested that ghosts and spirits can form bonds with mirrors, be the traditional furnishings or just reflective surfaces. Some theories propose that mirrors serve as portals to other realms, including the afterlife or spirit world.
Historically, mirrors were often associated with the soul, suggesting that a reflection was a part of one's spirit. There are instances where certain mirrors are believed to be haunted, with stories of apparitions, strange reflections, or even entities appearing within them.
