An pathologist took a racy photograph of herself in her underwear while she was at a mortuary - and then posted it on .
Bosses are investigating Amelie Warnier's snap, understood to have been taken in the morgue waiting room at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford, Essex. The 44-year-old professional is then believed to have posted the image on OnlyFans during the Covid-19 pandemic.
But Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, which operates the hospital, says there are "strict codes of practice" in its mortuaries. It has opened a probe into the mum of two's act, said to have happened after she was encouraged by a friend to create a profile on the adult website.
Speaking to The Sun yesterday, Amelie said: "You only have one life." The pathologist added she deactivated the OnlyFans account - but the raunchy image resurfaced when she relaunched her profile this year.

The image was shared widey online after Amelie uploaded it to OnlyFans, it is understood. As a result, bosses at Broomfield Hospital, which the public watchdog Care Quality Commission rated as Requires improvement this year, became aware of the picture.
"None of her colleagues could believe this when they saw it. Their eyes were popping out. It’s so brazen to strip off your scrubs and pose in the morgue," a source told .
But Amelie, a Spanish native who describes herself as a model and health nutritionist on her page, hit back at her critics. She told the publication: "I only took that picture when I first opened the account. Someone pushed me to do it and I said f*** it, why not. You only live once... If you’re a professional in your job it doesn’t matter what you’re doing after work."
The mother of two, from Witham, Essex, said a manager called in February complaining about "something recorded in the hospital" and warned her they would need to discuss it. The investigation was opened then and continues, according to reports.
Amelie qualified in pathology - the study of disease - in her native Spain in 2012. She has worked in the NHS for approximately seven years and has reportedly completed "thousands" of autopsies during this period.
Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust - which runs 800-bed Broomfield Hospital - said it was taking action in line with its HR policies and procedures. It added that “strict codes of practice” are followed in its mortuaries and there were stringent controls on who can enter. NHS England’s social media guidance warns health service staff that they can still be held to the "standards expected of healthcare professionals" on their personal profiles.
