Peter Andre supports daughter Princess in heartfelt post after Katie Price 'rift' rumours

Peter Andre has shown support to his daughter Princessamid the teen's reported 'rift' with her mother, Katie Price.

Taking to Instagram earlier this week, the Mysterious Girl singer posted a picture posing with his daughter outside Theta Mediterranean restaurant in Greece.

Peter gushed over the family time he shared with his wife and daughter in the caption, as he penned: "What a great time we had as a family the last few days .... until next time [red heart emoji]." He then tagged his wife Emily, adding: "You were missed @officialjunior_andre." It comes after her mum Katie Price worried fans with appearance in family photo after explaining weight loss.

Princess, 18, stunned in a light blue bodycon dress in the snap, while Peter, 52, wore a floral patterned shirt with beige cargo shorts.

Responding to her father's post, Princess simply wrote: "Love you".

The declaration of love from Peter comes after it was claimed Princess was told to distance herself from her mum, who has reportedly been left feeling like Brooklyn Beckham. "Katie feels isolated and disregarded," a source toldthe Sun.

"She loves Princess so much and is supremely proud of the young woman she is becoming. Princess told her mum that she needed to distance herself publicly and yet chats to her all the time behind closed doors."

Katie and daughter Princess once appeared to be inseparable, however tensions are reportedly rising between the pair resulting in a rift.

On Sunday, ITV2 are set to air The Princess Diaries, which focuses on the star's life and family. However, Katie claimed she was not allowed to feature on the series, with Princess' dad Peter Andre and step mum Emily allowed in front of the cameras instead.

Katie fumed on her Katie Price Show podcast: "Everyone knows she's doing this documentary - and I'm not in it. Certain people don't think it's good for Princess to be seen with me. Certain people that used to look after me." She added: "It's pathetic. I'm her mother. It's so sad. When certain people who used to look after me are now looking after..."

In the series, which is set to air on Sunday, Princess opens up about her childhood, in which she witnessed the bitter divorce between her parents.

In a candid confession, Princess said: "I did have a counsellor, I do still see her every now and then.

"But I don't feel like I can really talk, so I just write everything down in my notes. I do wish, like, I could have had a more happier childhood. In the sense of like, I had so many things on my plate at a young age."
