Adnan Sami was asked about his family in Pakistan. He said, 'I once thought of going there when my mother passed away. At that time I asked the Indian government that my mother has passed away and I want to go and see her for the last time. Do you have any objection to this? To this the Indian government said that she is your mother and you should definitely go.' He further said, 'I applied for a visa in Pakistan but they refused to give me a visa.
On this Adnan said that she is my mother, let her see it, but he did not agree. He further said that 'I saw my mother's entire funeral on WhatsApp.' Saying this he became emotional, tears came to his eyes.

Adnan Sami also spoke on the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan. Regarding the promotion of Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir, he said that this can only happen in Pakistan that promotions are being given even after losing a war. Adnan said that because India has not only given me citizenship, it has also given me immense love.
