This is the terrifying moment an amusement park ride broke in two, reportedly leaving several people injured. A horrifying clip emerged from the Green Mountain Park in Taif, Saudi Arabia, showing the main arm of a ride leaving thrill-seekers suspended upside-down in the air snapping in half.
According to eyewitnesses, a cracking sound was heard as the incident unfolded. As the arm breaks in the video, the footage seemingly shows an object flying out of the crashing attraction. People can be heard screaming in terror before the severed part of the ride crashed to the ground.
A total of 23 people were hurt after the ride snapped, including three who were left "critically injured" and rushed to hospital, the Khaleej Times reports.
The ride - called '360 Degrees' - was being enjoyed by many thrill-seekers when the incident occurred.
Law enforcement in Saudi Arabia launched a probe into the scary incident, and the area surrounding the ride was cordoned off.

This comes after a string of incidents at amusement parks around the world. A woman died after a rollercoaster malfunctioned in Delhi, India, in April, according to India Today.
Separately, in Brazil, a woman was rescued earlier this week after clinging to a metal structure of a ferris wheel 100ft from the ground. She was reportedly unharmed.
