The two players have been close since their junior days and today could be an emotional occasion with Lisowski looking for his first major title. This will be the fourth time the pair have met in a ranking final, with Trump reigning supreme in all three previous occasions.
The world number one, who is in his 50th ranking final, won the last three final meetings 10-7 at the 2020 World Grand Prix, 9-2 at the 2021 German Masters and 4-0 at the 2021 Gibraltar Open.
