US Open 2025 final prize money: How much do the winners get?

The US Open increased its total prize pot by over a third from last year, where singles champions Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka each received £2.84million for their victories at Flushing Meadows. Tournament organisers have attempted to make a big splash in New York by revamping the mixed doubles competition, involving big names a week prior to the Major, and offering unprecedented sums of money to competitors at the final Grand Slam of 2025.

Here, Express Sport breaks down how much money each player will earn for their endeavours, in addition to all the details you need for this weekend's finals and how to watch.

US Open final prize money?

The winner of the men's and women's singles at the US Open will each pocket £3.74m in prize money. That sum is a 39 per cent increase from the previous year, with as much as £67.3m shared out between men's, women's doubles and wheelchair competitions.

Wimbledon awarded £53.5m in prize money by comparison, while the French Open (£49m) and Australian Open (£47m) pale in comparison to the American Slam.

Mixed doubles champions Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori have already banked a combined £736,880 for their efforts against a host of big names, with a final victory over Iga Swiatek and Casper Ruud.

The men's and women's doubles pairings will receive nearly £750k for winning the final, while £1.2m will be awarded across the wheelchair competition.

What time does the US Open final start?

The women's final, which takes place on Saturday, gets underway at 9pm (BST), or 4pm local time.

Sunday's men's final takes place slightly earlier, commencing at 7pm (BST) / 2pm local time.

How to watch the US Open final

The US Open has been exclusively broadcast by Sky Sports in the UK, with matches shown on Sky Sports Tennis, Sky Sports+ and Sky Sports Main Event.

Build up will take place on Sky Sports Tennis, with coverage on Main Event on Saturday starting at 8pm.

Similarly on Sunday, Sky Sports Tennis will provide initial punditry and analysis in addition to the match, which is shown on Main Event at 7pm.
