Asus has introduced Drop Zone services at its exclusive retail stores, allowing customers to drop off laptops for repair without visiting dedicated service centers. The service is available initially at company exclusive stores in Delhi, Kolkata, Nagpur, Mumbai, and Coimbatore, with plans for nationwide expansion.

The Drop Zone service streamlines laptop repairs by enabling customers to deposit devices at neighborhood Asus stores rather than traveling to standalone service centers. Store executives conduct initial assessments for physical damage and software issues before coordinating with repair facilities. Customers receive job sheets for tracking and are notified when repairs are complete.

"Outstanding product experiences go beyond just innovative designs and cutting-edge technology," said Arnold Su, VP of Consumer and Gaming PC at Asus India . "With the Drop Zone initiative, we're making it easier than ever for customers to keep their laptops in peak condition with easy access."

The service initially covers in-warranty Asus laptops through a six-step process including device assessment , repair coordination, and collection notification. Customers must retain job sheets to collect repaired units, following standard service center terms if documentation is lost.

Asus operates over 200 service centers across India, covering 14,900 pin codes and 761 districts. The company provides 24/7 support through multiple channels including phone, chat, email, and remote troubleshooting via the MyASUS app.

The Drop Zone expansion targets tier-2 and tier-3 cities to improve accessibility. Asus has also launched a service camp in Pune offering on-site diagnostics and expert guidance. The initiatives reflect the Taiwanese tech giant's commitment to comprehensive after-sales support across India's diverse markets.
