Eligible workers include platform-based service providers such as those working with Ola, Uber, Amazon, Flipkart, and other gig economy platforms.

Any Indian unorganised sector worker aged between 16 and 59 years can apply for the E-Shram Card. The scheme targets those not covered under EPFO or ESIC, helping them access government benefits that were earlier limited to the formal workforce.

Visit the official E-Shram portal:

Click on “Register on eShram” on the homepage.

Enter your Aadhaar-linked mobile number and captcha code.

Indicate your EPFO/ESIC membership status by selecting ‘Yes’ or ‘No’.

Complete the OTP verification sent to your registered mobile number.

Provide your address and educational details.

Select your skills, nature of work, and business type.

Enter your bank account details and opt for self-declaration.

Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Enter the final OTP for verification, after which your E-Shram Card will be generated. You can download and print the card for use.
